Beta 2 introduces a bug fix for installing updates from the App Store within Latest.
This fix requires a privileged helper program to be installed alongside Latest. This is optional and can be ignored if you do not want to update App Store apps within Latest.
At this moment, Latest also requires the "Full Disk Access" permission. I have not investigated this and hope to find a way to circumvent this. At this moment, there is no alert to inform you if the permission is missing, the installation will simply fail.
Feel free to try out this fix and report back in issue #514 if you encounter any issues.
