This is a pre-release (beta) that adds about 190 more legacy sources migrated to the BaseSource pipeline since beta.5, bringing roughly 70% of all sources (about 713 of 1009) onto it. If you tried an earlier beta, please update and let us know what breaks; if you haven't yet, opt in via HACS' "show beta versions" toggle and report anything you hit on #6561. Stable installs are unaffected until 3.0.0 ships.

Breaking changes: please read before updating.

  • Waste-type labels have changed for every migrated source (all sources listed under "Other" below, plus those migrated in the betas). Labels are now the canonical, localised waste-type names instead of the provider's own strings. Check any automation, template, customisation or card that compares an exact label string.
  • gotland_se: the uprn parameter is now building_id. YAML configs must switch the key; existing UI entries need to be reconfigured (#7619).
  • mamirolle_info: the dummy _ parameter is gone, and cheshire_east_gov_uk: the verify parameter is gone; configs that still pass them may fail (#7650, #7670).
  • affaldonline_dk now uses a city, street and house-number cascade in the config flow (the house-number parameter is still called values); see the entry below (#7519).

  • changed gemeinde24_at and cmcitymedia_de to use cascading_select in the config flow; config keys are unchanged (#7626, #7627)
  • removed Pillow from the manifest requirements, since Home Assistant provides it (#7664)
  • docs: new sources must use the BaseSource pipeline (#7642)
  • chore: devcontainer Node.js update and quoting fixes in the Claude agent descriptions (#7630, #7631)
