Changes
- Material 3 Expressive
- Updated launcher icon
- Improved integration with external food databases
- And much more
Important Notes
This is an alpha release and is not intended for daily use. It is installed alongside the stable version, as it is distributed as a separate app.
The app is still missing several features, and stability issues are expected. Data compatibility is not guaranteed between alpha versions, so you should expect that your app data will be lost when updating to future alpha releases.
Think of this release as a preview of what Food You will become in the future rather than a production-ready version.
Feedback & Contributions
This release introduces a significant visual refresh, and feedback is highly appreciated. In particular:
- The new Material 3 Expressive design
- UI elements that feel confusing, distracting, or out of place
- Anything that feels annoying or frustrating during everyday use
Even small observations can be valuable and help shape future releases.
Please do not create feature requests for functionality that already exists in version 3.0.0. Migrating existing features is currently the primary focus of development.
If you'd like to help with development, the most valuable contribution is reporting bugs, crashes, and usability problems you encounter.
