Team workspaces, display profiles and per workspace billing.
Team & Workspaces (Pro)
Colleagues now work inside one shared workspace instead of each keeping a separate account with its own invisible set of displays. A workspace holds the displays, boards, calendar accounts and settings, and it is the unit billing is based on.
- Invite colleagues by email as Admin or Member. One click from the invitation email joins the workspace, with no separate sign-up step. Invitations last 7 days and can be re-sent or withdrawn.
- Three roles: everyone manages displays, boards, profiles and calendar accounts; owners and admins also invite and handle billing; only owners change roles and remove members.
- While accepting an invitation, an invitee can bring their own displays, boards, devices and calendar accounts into the workspace they are joining.
- Workspace switcher in the top bar showing the current workspace and your role. Rename a workspace, create an extra one for a second site, or delete a leftover empty one you own.
Display Profiles (Pro)
Reusable sets of display settings, so one admin can configure many rooms at once instead of one by one.
- A profile holds the same sections as a single display (Behavior, Display, State texts, Branding, Advertisement) including the images, so one logo or background upload covers every room that follows it.
- Assign in bulk from the Displays tab with checkboxes. Linked displays inherit changes live.
- Inheritance is per section: saving a section detaches only that section, and every section has a "Follow profile" action to hand it back.
- Deleting a profile copies its values onto the linked displays, so rooms keep behaving exactly as they did rather than reverting to defaults.
Boards
- Room categories: group the rooms of a board into named sections such as "Downstairs" or "Floor 2" by dragging them in the board editor. Ungrouped rooms appear last under "Other", and the order is set per board.
- The meeting organizer is shown per room in card, grid and table view.
- "Next up" and "available until" now only consider bookings on the current day, so a room whose next booking is tomorrow shows "available until end of day" instead of a time range that looks like today.
Billing
- Billing is per workspace. Displays count once, boards count double, and the unit total lives on the workspace, so the figure on the Team page, the subscription quantity and the invoice are always the same number.
- Adding or removing a display or board resizes the subscription straight away instead of waiting for the next scheduled sync.
- New Lemon Squeezy billing portal on the workspace page, for changing a payment method, downloading invoices or cancelling.
- Owners and admins can both manage billing. Members are pointed at them rather than shown a button that fails.
Tablet app (1.6.5)
- Every display now carries two names: a Display name used only in the dashboard to tell displays apart, and a Room name printed on the tablet. Both are editable after creation.
- The meeting organizer gets its own label beside the meeting time, so longer names stay readable.
- New per-display option to show the meeting location from the calendar event in the schedule (off by default).
- One type scale across the whole dashboard, so labels stay in proportion to each other at every screen size. Smaller panels such as 1024x600 read noticeably better: larger text in a shorter bottom bar, and more room for the room details beside the timeline.
- Extending a meeting shows the new end time immediately.
- The tablet now states which calendar day it is asking for, so its schedule matches its own date.
Upgrade notes
- This release runs 17 migrations. They repoint Lemon Squeezy customers, subscriptions and orders from users to workspaces, add usage counters and billing columns to workspaces, and backfill both. Take a database backup before upgrading.
- The "Show the meeting location" setting is added, default disabled. Gives the option to hide the meeting location on screen.
