MyJDownloader Browser Extension (Manifest V3)
Manifest V3 conversion of the MyJDownloader browser extension.
What's New in 2026.10.2
- Resolve in Browser: for file hosts the extension knows, the link is opened in your browser first and JDownloader receives the direct download link. This is for hosts behind Cloudflare that JDownloader cannot load itself. The first supported host is FileDitch (fileditchfiles.me and fileditchvids.st). Links wrapped in a forum's "leaving this site" redirect (for example simpcity) are unwrapped automatically.
- What to expect: a short wait while the page is read in an inactive tab. If Cloudflare shows a challenge, the tab comes to the front for you to pass it; nothing bypasses it. If resolving fails, the original link is sent and the panel says why.
- Setting: Settings > Add Links Dialog / default values > "Resolve in Browser". It is on by default. Turn it off to send links exactly as before.
- No new permissions.
- For contributors: how to add a host resolver is described in CONTRIBUTING.md. To ask for a host, use the new "Host resolver request" issue form. A pinned issue lists the supported hosts.
Everything else is unchanged.

Installation
- Download
myjdownloader-extension-mv3-2026.10.2.zip - Extract the zip file
- Open
chrome://extensions/and enable Developer mode - Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder
- Log in to your MyJDownloader account via the extension popup
