MyJDownloader Browser Extension (Manifest V3)
Manifest V3 conversion of the MyJDownloader browser extension.
What's New in 2026.10.1
- The popup's device panel works (#21): the status row (speed, ETA, done, total) fills in again, and Start, Pause and Stop now really control JDownloader. Neither had worked in any MV3 build. Behavior change: those buttons now send real commands to your JDownloader. Thanks @matand77 for the report and for confirming the fix.
- Clipboard observer works (#20): with the setting on, copying a selection that contains a link opens the toolbar; copying plain text does nothing. Ctrl+Shift+X toggles the setting. Thanks @hraphael for the report.
- Update notifications (#16): the extension checks once a day for a newer release and shows a badge and a banner in Settings. Settings > About also has a manual "Check for updates".
- CAPTCHA widget script loads in the page (#23): the hCaptcha or reCAPTCHA script is now loaded in the hoster page's own context, where the extension's content script security policy no longer blocks it. Thanks @BlackScript.
- Removed the feedback form from the popup; it never sent anything.
CAPTCHA status: JDownloader's own browser solver pages (the "install the extension" tab it opens on 127.0.0.1) are not yet handed over to the extension in this release; that fix is in progress. See #24 for what works, what is pending and how to help.
