Arch Linux and the recent AUR attack note: Cable depends on one AUR package; python-pyalsaaudio, that I adopted last year after it beeing orphaned briefly. If you are wary of using AUR (as you should be, given the recent events), bundled AppImage or flatpak are other options. See their build scripts here: https://github.com/magillos/cable-packaging
