• Updated Rust dependencies across the project, including networking, async runtime, serialization, and caching libraries.
• Added support for a new CACHE_TTL environment variable to control cache expiration.
• Added configurable HOST and PORT settings.
• Added support for configuring the FFmpeg timeout.
• Improved feed descriptions by converting line breaks to HTML <br> tags.

Fixes

• Fixed FFmpeg URL resolution and stdout piping issues during transcoding.
• Fixed missing publication dates when processing YouTube Atom feeds.
• Fixed transcoded downloads to properly support HTTP Range requests, improving compatibility with podcast clients and media players.

Maintenance

• Updated GitHub Actions, Docker build tooling, and CI dependencies.
• General dependency and security updates throughout the release.

How to Update

If you are upgrading from v1.0.x, also review the https://github.com/madiele/vod2pod-rss/releases/tag/v1.1.0.

Older configurations will continue to work, but you may be carrying around unnecessary Docker images and dependencies that can consume several GB of disk space.

sudo docker compose pull
sudo docker compose up -d --remove-orphans
sudo docker system prune -a

docker system prune -a removes unused images left behind after upgrading.
