Haft v10 alpha

An experimental, separately installed haft10 for macOS Apple Silicon and Codex, intended for new projects and disposable copies.

This alpha includes readable project records with exact editions and history; explicit change creation, preview and apply; links between claims, Go code and declared checks; real check execution with retained failed and passing results; pinned FPF and Engineering DPF source reading; and CLI/MCP access with incremental detail reads. It requires no embedding sidecar, embedding model download or vector index.

Download haft10_10.0.0-alpha.f5893beb2164_darwin_arm64.tar.gz and SHA256SUMS, verify the archive, unpack it, and follow haft10-alpha/README.md. Keep the binary and bundled source directory together. Go is needed to execute Go checks. The included example walks through initialization, a failing check, a claim change, code correction, a passing check, retention and recovery from a fresh Codex session.

The exact archive passed that guided Codex scenario and fresh-session recovery. Retained bytes, unknown extensions, predecessor history and both real check outcomes were inspected. Final code/package review completed with bounded follow-ups. Selected checks were used; race, broad full-suite repeats and additional vet were waived, not reported as passed.

This alpha does not replace the ordinary v9 installation or provide a qualified live migration. Linux and other hosts remain unqualified. Content marked current is not binding approval; a saved check result does not independently certify a claim. Format and UX may change.

Known limitations:

• Upgrading old experimental caches is unqualified.
• For very large summaries, detail-view child routes can return missing_part. Use part=summary with view=bytes and the returned continuations, or read the named claim/record parts.
• Bundled licenses/notices and pinned sources identify selected provenance. The exact upstream ICU revision for vendored Unicode headers remains unestablished.

The 85 accepted source inputs and pinned source commits were verified identical; SOURCE-PROVENANCE.json records that mapping; the public merge SHA is not the binary buildinfo SHA. A byte-identical rebuild from the merged commit is not claimed.
