Important

Before upgrading to Rallly v4.0.0, we strongly recommend backing up your database. While we've tested the upgrade process, a backup ensures you can restore your data in case of any unforeseen issues during the migration.

✨ Key Highlights:

🎨 Updated User Interface

Rallly has a new look! We've refreshed the UI to make it more modern, intuitive, and easier to navigate.

💰 Monetization for Multi-User Self-Hosted Setups

To support the continued development and sustainability of Rallly, we're introducing a licensing model for multi-user self-hosted instances.

  • Personal (single-user) setups remain completely free!
  • For multi-user deployments, we now offer the option to pay for a license:

☁️ S3 Storage Support

You can now configure Rallly to use Amazon S3 (or S3-compatible services eg. minio). Check out the S3 Configuration documentation

⚙️ New Control Panel

A new Control Panel has been added for instance administrators. This panel allows for easier management of:

  • Users and their roles
  • License activation and status
  • Check out the documentation for how to access the Control Panel
