External themes

• Customize colors, backgrounds, banners, and UI icons using external JSON files.
• Keep multiple themes in switch/CyberFoil/theme/ and choose one in Settings > System > Theme.
• Apply themes without restarting. An animated spinner and progress bar show the transition while layouts are recreated.
• Use the built-in Default option to restore the standard appearance.
• Six example palettes are included: Midnight Blue, OLED Mint, Forest Green, Violet Dusk, Ember Amber, and Crimson Night.
• Selection highlights stay behind main-menu icons and Remote cover art. Settings rows and section tabs respect theme colors.

Custom offline database packs

• Optional custom_titles.pack and custom_icons.pack supplement the default offline database. Custom entries take priority for matching title IDs.
• Create packs from title JSON and your own images using tools/create_custom_packs.py in the source repository.
• Icons use the same processing as Offline-DB-Maker: 128×128 with Lanczos, EXIF orientation handling, white-background alpha compositing, and WebP at quality 80, method 6.
• Offline database updates preserve custom packs.

USB drive browsing

• Hide dot files and folders by default, including macOS ._ sidecar files.
• Hide common Windows metadata names, including $RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information.
• Press − or tap Show hidden / Hide hidden to toggle visibility. The preference is saved and is also available in General settings.
• Hidden entries are excluded from Select All and new install selections; empty-folder controls handle missing selections safely.

Remote discovery and installation controls

• Discover AeroFoil servers on the LAN from Remote settings.
• Configure separate LAN and Remote addresses, with LAN-first automatic selection or a forced endpoint.
• Installations run on a worker while the interface remains responsive. The installation screen displays the active title and pending queue.
• Add and remove pending titles during supported Remote and local-file installations.
• B cancels the active title and remaining batch; completed installations are retained.
• X blanks the screen while installation continues. Any button or touch wakes it.

Installation

Extract cyberfoil.zip onto the SD card. The application is at switch/CyberFoil/cyberfoil.nro; example themes are in switch/CyberFoil/theme/. Open Settings > System > Theme to choose a palette. Installing the examples does not change the default appearance automatically.

Existing configuration and custom packs are retained. Existing Tinfoil themes require adapting to CyberFoil's documented schema. See the repository README for theme customization and custom-pack creation instructions.
