Overview
This is a lightweight Windows 11 x64 tray utility that filters out impossible HID sequences and rapid duplicate keypresses generated by Logitech G915/G915X keyboards (and potentially other models with similar behavior).
It runs entirely in user‑mode, requires no drivers, and does not modify system files.
What it fixes
Some G915/G915X units produce:
rapid duplicate keypresses
phantom repeats
invalid HID sequences
“stuttering” keys during normal typing or gaming
This utility intercepts keyboard events at the user‑mode level and removes sequences that are physically impossible for a human to generate, resulting in clean, stable input.
Platform Support
⚠️ This fix is for Windows 11 x64 only.
It will not run on:
Linux
macOS
Windows 10
ARM64 builds of Windows
How to use
Download the files from this release.
Place them together in the same folder.
Run KeyboardRepeatFilter.exe.
A tray icon will appear — the filter is active immediately.
No installation, no drivers, no admin rights required.
Known limitations
Only filters keyboard events (does not modify mouse input).
Only tested on Windows 11 x64.
Does not fix hardware‑level debounce issues — it filters them at the OS level.
