Breaking changes
- The controller IP address sensor is removed. It only repeated the configured host. To alert on a controller outage, use any Vantage entity becoming unavailable.
- Failed actions now raise an error in Home Assistant instead of only being logged.
New
- Reconfigure flow for changing the controller's host. Closes #325.
- Diagnostics download, with each controller's model and firmware.
- Error messages from actions can now be translated.
Fixes
- Systems with more than one thermostat now load every thermostat on Home Assistant 2026.8 and later. Fixes #399.
- Virtual thermostats with no cool, fan or heat stage are now parsed. Fixes loopj/aiovantage#414.
- An entity whose object was deleted from the Vantage project now shows as unavailable straight away.
- Fixed-point variables are rounded instead of truncated, so 1.001 no longer becomes 1.000.
- Setting a temperature together with an HVAC mode now switches the mode first.
- Thermostats with a fan interface now set the fan speed.
- Diagnostics leave out the config entry and controller serial numbers.

- Bump aiovantage to 0.23.5.
- Tests for setup, the config flow, actions and every platform.
