We'll be releasing our new Instant Loomio features underneath the 1.0.0 namespace. I'll draft a release each Friday, which will include the major points of development throughout the week, with a special note for any breaking changes or backwards compatibility issues.
Note that a ton of development has happened between this and the previous release, and I'm not going to try to cover it all in this announcement. The general gist though, is that we are:
- developing a new set of decision tools to expand the existing proposal functionality
- removing barriers around having one proposal at a time
- allowing decisions to occur outside of the confines of a group
- Writing integrations with other commonly used platforms (think Facebook, Slack, Discourse, LDAP, etc) to allow decisions to happen within pre-existing communities
I'll break these down into several categories: FIX for bugfixes, FEATURE for new feature development, ARCH for architecture or refactoring work, DOCS for documentation, UX for design cleanup or visual improvements... perhaps a few other categories as they appear useful.
