• fix(http addons): route configured Tidal Atmos renditions through verified native output (#658)

  Details

  Root cause

  The HTTP/Eclipse add-on protocol was never connected to Lokal Desktop's native Dolby playback handler, which only accepted executable Morneye packages. Even when a Tidal HTTP add-on's quality setting requested Atmos, its stream was sent through Chromium's ordinary decoder instead.

  Changes

  • Detect a selected Atmos quality in an HTTP add-on's manifest settings (including AC-4 Atmos, E-AC-3 JOC, or an explicitly labeled Dolby Atmos option), independent of track search tags.
  • Expose only a non-sensitive codec/routing hint to the desktop renderer; do not expose the add-on endpoint, credentials, or signed media URLs.
  • Route ordinary queue playback of that source to existing native output, with no PCM fallback.
  • Obtain the add-on's rendition through the usual quality-aware /stream resolver, stage its signed progressive HTTPS media using bounded size, redirects and cancellation, and verify the actual file with ffprobe before starting native Windows/HDMI playback.
  • Reject plain E-AC-3 without JOC verification and mismatched AC-4; preserve normal FLAC output if a non-Atmos quality is selected.
  • Add isolated HTTP protocol regressions to desktop Atmos CI.

  Limitations

  The user's credential-bearing endpoint was not accessible from this environment (network disabled), so live Tidal HTTP payloads and physical decoder behavior are not verified. DRM, encrypted media, HLS or DASH cannot be treated as a supported progressive rendition. Do not claim this specific provider works until its /stream returns an allowed direct rendition and native output is tested. No private endpoint/token is committed.
