  Details

  Behavior

  • Remove the embedded Amazon (New) .sflx, startup install, package-specific test and injected registry entry; keep existing installed packages and credentials intact.
  • Each Morneye package's saved quality setting now controls requested playback/download tier. No hidden fallback from Atmos to FLAC. Explicit non-spatial settings remain intact.
  • For saved Atmos-quality tiers, route queue playback (search, albums, playlists, next) to the existing native output rather than Chromium PCM; use Windows native headphone output or supported E-AC-3 HDMI passthrough. Verify the encoded file rather than requiring a per-track catalogue tag.
  • Stop the ordinary PCM downloader from converting a selected spatial stream into AAC/FLAC; report unsupported codec or output directly.
  • Preserve manual Play/Download Atmos when the plugin is configured to FLAC. Settings changes refresh routing.
  • Update desktop Atmos and quality regression tests.

  Limitations: A saved provider quality expresses a request, not verified catalogue availability. AC-4 native output is Windows-only; other spatial add-on formats without a known compatible native route remain unsupported. CI and physical output verification pending.
