• feat(desktop): add Appearance toggle for Home greeting and subheader (#753)

  Details

  Summary

  • Add Settings → Appearance → Home → Home greeting and subheader toggle, matching Lokal Mobile's Home header preference.
  • ON by default, including upgraded installs without this setting; OFF removes both the personalized headline and subheader plus their entire layout block to reclaim vertical space.
  • Apply the same choice across Local, Discovery, Flow, Releases, and History through their shared Home header. Leave the tab switcher and content unchanged.
  • Persist through desktop's existing api.saveSettings mechanism (home_greeting: 1/0), and refresh the mounted Home view on the existing lokal:settings-saved event without restarting.

  Tests and validation

  • Expanded scripts/home-cover-choice.test.mjs to assert default-on flag, shared header conditional, settings persistence, and live-refresh wiring.
  • Checked changed source strings and branch comparison; 4 files changed, no unrelated changes.
  • Node/npm test suite was not run in this environment; CI should validate after opening the PR.
