Work through a plan with Codex before it changes your notes. Plan mode now is supported in Codex agents, and questions appear directly in Agent Chat so you can guide the next step.

• Use gpt-6-sol and gpt-6-luna with Codex. Copilot now manages codex-acp 1.13.0. (#3337)
• Review Codex's plan before it starts making changes. Choose Plan to collaborate on the approach, then approve the inline plan card to continue in Auto. (#3345)

• Answer Codex questions inside Agent Chat. Choose an option or write your own answer when Codex needs your input, in Safe, Plan, or Auto mode. (#3340)

• See which chats still have an open agent session in Recent Chats and Chat History. Use Close session to release one while keeping the saved conversation. (#3213)

• Streaming replies do less rendering work in long Agent Chats. A 30-message streaming benchmark on macOS measured 47.1% less renderer scripting time. (#3349)
• Custom Codex and OpenCode binary setup now explains compatibility risks and recommends the version managed by Copilot. (#3341)
• Updated how Copilot starts OpenCode in preparation for OpenCode 2. (#3342)
