Catches the public release up to 5.5.27. The canonical full history is internal; this is the clean public snapshot. Highlights since 5.5.3:
🔎 MAC / IP finder
Type a MAC or an IP and get the access switch and port. Reads switch forwarding databases and router ARP/ND tables from Zabbix walk[] items (API-only, so it works for switches behind a proxy), classifies uplinks via LLDP, and accepts MAC, IPv4 and IPv6 (EUI-64 straight from the address, plus the ND table). Honest about ambiguity and age.
📊 Data quality
A measured / estimated / stale / unknown vocabulary shown consistently across the node panel, edge panel, tooltip and table — so a missing value never looks like a healthy zero. New ci:quality gate.
🧩 Dependencies & infrastructure hierarchy
A read-only business-service Dependencies tab, and a host→host hosting edge for Proxmox / Kubernetes hierarchies (Pod → Node → Hypervisor → Switch), with failure propagation.
🌙 Zabbix 8
Adaptive dark palette that measures the active theme and matches it — the new dark-blue theme becomes navy, high-contrast stays crisp. Verified JS/PHP widget-framework compatibility.
🛠️ Fixes & hardening
Bounded hop-graph build, incomplete-graph reporting, context-menu and label-readability fixes, a concurrent shared-config save fix, and code-review follow-ups.
All example data (MACs, IPs, hosts) is fabricated.
