• Traffic throughout longer races: corrected car retirement so distant vehicles release their slots and replacement traffic can continue appearing.
• Widescreen HUD: corrected the single-player speedometer and message placement, with centered pause labels across screen layouts.

Windows and experimental Linux downloads are provided. The existing optional mods from 1.4.8 remain compatible with 1.4.9:
