ZeppBridge 3.1.1
- Added: Traditional Chinese. The 13th interface language. If your system language is Traditional Chinese (Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau), it is picked automatically; the language wheel shows it as 繁.
- Added: The author can answer your letter. Replies you send can now get a one-to-one answer; the envelope in “My replies” gets a blue “Author replied” stamp, and opening it shows your page first, then the author’s.
- Added: Hide devices. Any device in Settings › Account and devices can be hidden. It only leaves the list, the data stays; bring it back from the bottom of the list at any time.
- Added: The command-line tool comes with the app (#157). zeppbridge-cli is installed next to the app, and Settings › AI tools lets you copy its path; the new shoes and races commands manage your shoes and races.
- Added: A guide to sending data to AI. A “How it works” link next to MCP on the Send to AI page walks through picking data, planning training and sending it to your watch, and connecting over MCP.
- Added: A new onboarding tour. The first launch walks through the basics, and each section explains itself the first time you open it; Settings › Guide lets you replay any part.
- Added: Four workout types get their own codes. Dog walking, padel and stair climbing (now separate from the stair stepper) are recognized directly; alpine skiing can be set by hand.
- Added: A way out when the system can’t store your login (#161). On Linux and macOS, if sign-in succeeds but the system credential store refuses the token, you can repair it and retry, or explicitly agree to save it in a credentials.json only you can read, without signing in again.
- Improved: Automatic sync keeps running in the tray. It syncs on schedule while the window is hidden or the screen is off, and after a failed sync it retries after 1, 2, 4 and 8 minutes instead of waiting a full interval.
- Improved: Devices are identified from Zepp’s official list. Several models that used to be ambiguous are settled, the Korean Cheetah 2 Pro is recognized, and body composition scales show as scales.
- Improved: Pool swim steps can be as short as 25 m. Tested on a T-Rex 3 Pro, with the pool length set on the watch; swim steps take no pace target for now, so use heart rate.
- Improved: A calmer week view for training plans. Each workout in a day gets its own shape, so short pool sessions stay readable, and the wall of yellow warnings is now one quiet note.
- Improved: Trail run plans say to pick Run on the watch (#143). The watch has no trail subtype, so the label reads “Run · trail” and you start it as a run.
- Improved: Send to AI includes your basal metabolic rate. With a body composition scale, the training and activity category now carries BMR.
- Improved: No more “database unavailable” while data is being rebuilt. The Send to AI page says it is rebuilding or compacting and reloads by itself when done.
- Improved: Where resting heart rate comes from (#158). The export and MCP descriptions now say resting_hr is taken from the band’s sleep summary, not the average heart rate during sleep.
- Improved: Local data is reprocessed once after updating. A large library takes about 15 minutes and sync waits until it is done; kilometer splits and sleep durations in older data are corrected along the way.
- Improved: Linux picks its rendering mode by graphics card (#161). WebKit’s DMABUF renderer used to be turned off on every Linux machine; now it is only turned off on NVIDIA cards and older Wayland, and machines where it is off skip the theme and language transition animations.
- Fixed: Kilometer splits are no longer dropped (#159). Some watches write the distance with decimals, which used to discard all of a workout’s splits.
- Fixed: The default shoe no longer swallows your shoe list (#157). Workouts with an unregistered shoe are no longer counted on the default shoe, and that pair appears in the Journal under “Shoes Zepp recorded that you haven’t added”.
- Fixed: Mountain bike rides export to FIT as mountain biking (#157).
- Fixed: Weight sync no longer keeps timing out (#157).
- Fixed: Sleep edited in the Zepp app now matches. If you changed when you fell asleep or woke up in the app, one night stays one entry, and unmeasured awake time is no longer recorded as 0 minutes.
- Fixed: The pace chart on workout details is the right way up. Faster is higher.
- Fixed: Linux no longer says the authorization expired when the browser did not open (#156). It suggests copying the authorization link into your browser.
