- Phones held upright: the game on top, the companion in the middle and the touch controls at the bottom. DS games put the touch screen in the companion's place
- X and Y on the touch controls in DS games
- DS games held sideways on one screen: the D-pad and buttons sit in the bottom corners, with SELECT and START between them
- A COMPANION hotkey that opens the companion on one screen, or brings it back after CLOSE COMPANION. Thanks @moronigranja
