🇳🇿 New Zealand bank sync with Akahu
MoneyMatter can now sync New Zealand bank accounts through Akahu, without a Lunch Flow subscription. Create a personal app in Akahu, then paste its App Token and User Token into the Connect Akahu dialog. MoneyMatter brings in your accounts and their transactions and keeps them up to date. A pending transaction that settles a few days later stays as one entry instead of two.

🔥 FIRE pace against a past month
The FIRE planner now tells you whether you're ahead, on pace or behind. It compares where you are today with the estimate for a month you pick (a year ago by default), using the FIRE settings you had saved for that month. You'll find it on the FIRE page and in the dashboard's FIRE widget.
🗂️ Redesigned transaction groups
The transaction groups page now shows your groups as a table with their name, number of transactions, dates and net amount. You can sort the list by date, name or net amount, and the dialog for creating and editing a group has a cleaner layout.
📊 Net row in the pivot table
The pivot table ends with a Net row (income minus expenses) for each period. You no longer need to switch the measure to see it.
✨ Other Improvements
- The light theme has stronger contrast between cards and the page, plus clearer hover states.
- The success message in the bank sync popover is now grey with a green check, to match the rest of the app.
- For self-hosting, each release now gets its own Docker image tag next to
latest. You can pin your setup to a release, and tools like Renovate, Diun or WUD can tell you when a new version is out.
