What's Changed
📅 Months that start on your payday
If your salary lands mid-month, MoneyMatter can now start each month on your payday. Pick the day under Settings → General → Payday, anywhere from the 1st to the 28th. Set it to the 25th and the dashboard runs from the 25th to the 24th of the next month. Its widgets and month-by-month arrows follow the same dates.
The Cash Flow report uses your pay cycle for its monthly bars, its money flow chart and the "Last 3, 6 or 12 months" shortcuts. Other reports keep calendar months.
🪙 Currency deletion checks what uses it
You can delete a currency only once nothing uses it. Accounts, investment holdings and portfolios shown in that currency already blocked deletion. Now portfolio cash, transfers, investment transactions, recurring payments, transaction templates, budgets, goals and venture deals block it too. When you confirm, the dialog names each item, including ones in the trash, so you know what to change or delete first.
Some transactions record a foreign amount, such as a card payment abroad. If you delete that currency, MoneyMatter removes the foreign amount from those transactions and keeps the amount in the account's own currency.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Since v0.33.2, opening an investment portfolio set to show values in a chosen currency could leave its summary and holdings loading forever. Both now finish loading. Portfolios without that setting were never affected.
