What's Changed
🏷️ Auto-add trackers by category or tag
Trackers in MoneyMatter no longer come in Manual and Category-based types. Every tracker now has an Auto-add switch. Pick categories, tags or both, and MoneyMatter adds your transactions from the tracker's date range that carry any of them. You can still add and remove transactions by hand on any tracker. A transaction you remove stays out: the tracker's Not added again list shows it, and Allow again brings it back if it still matches.
Turn on Remove transactions that stop matching and MoneyMatter takes out transactions the rules added once they no longer fit, for example after you change a category. It checks every 6 hours and leaves transactions you added by hand alone. When you save new rules, MoneyMatter checks all your transactions against them right away. On a shared tracker, auto-add picks up only the owner's transactions.
Smart tracking now works on every tracker, including ones with auto-add on. You can filter the tracker list by Auto-add on and Hand-picked. AI assistants connected over MCP can set category and tag rules.
Your existing category trackers switch to auto-add with the same categories. If one of them includes split transactions, its total can go up: a split with one matching part now counts in full.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- On narrow screens, a tracker's page pushed its action buttons onto a separate line below the tracker name. They now stay on the same row as the name, and the status badges sit next to it.
- The sidebar's Bank Accounts and Cars sections listed accounts in an order that looked random and shifted as balances updated. Accounts now sort by name, both inside account groups and outside them.
