📊 Three new dashboard widgets
MoneyMatter adds three widgets to the dashboard:
- Spending Pace compares what you've spent so far this month with last month or your 3-month average, and forecasts where the month will end.
- Cash & Accounts shows your total cash, how much it changed since last month, and how many months of expenses it covers.
- Assets & Liabilities puts what you own next to what you owe. The gap between them is your net worth.
🧾 Import transactions from images
The AI statement import takes images now. Upload or paste a JPG, PNG or WebP file, such as a photo of a paper statement, a screenshot from your banking app or a receipt. A receipt becomes one transaction for its total. Dates follow your browser's timezone. For foreign purchases, the import keeps the original amount and currency along with the bank's reference. Vehicle and loan accounts no longer appear as import targets.
✨ Improvements
- Self-hosting: the published Docker images run on ARM machines such as a Raspberry Pi.
- Landing page: the AI section plays an interactive demo of an assistant turning statements, receipts and screenshots into transactions and answering questions about your money.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Sells and dividends that had a fee showed price × quantity plus the fee, when they should have shown the cash you received. This also inflated dividends in your portfolio's annualized returns. MoneyMatter fixes your existing sells and dividends during the update. Buys, and sells or dividends without a fee, were never affected.
- With Enable Banking, strict banks such as Erste Bank Polska blocked connecting and manual syncs after a few attempts, and you had to wait until midnight to try again. Connecting and manual syncs now work with these banks. Banks without this limit, such as Commerzbank, were never affected.
- If you changed an account's credit limit or excluded it from stats, the dashboard kept showing the old numbers until you reloaded the page. Balance edits already updated it right away.
- On the review step of a CSV import, the Invalid Rows table showed raw text codes in place of column names, and the codes overlapped. The file count on the column mapping step and some error messages after a failed Google or GitHub sign-in had the same problem.
