What's Changed
🔖 Saved views for transactions
The Transactions page has a new Views menu. Set up your filters and sorting, save them under a name, and apply them again in one click. A view saved with a rolling range such as "This month" or "Last 3 months" keeps rolling, so it shows the current period each time you open it. When you change filters on an applied view, you can update the view, revert, or save the result as a new one. You can also rename, reorder and delete views.
🏦 Bank sync schedule
MoneyMatter now syncs your connected bank accounts in the background twice a day, as long as you've used the app in the last 7 days. Pick the two times in Settings → General → Bank sync schedule. Times show in your local time, and picking the same time twice means one sync a day. Until you choose, syncs run at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.
🗂️ Income categories
The transaction form lists only income categories for an income transaction and the rest for an expense. Search still finds any category. Choose which categories count as income in Settings → General → Income categories; subcategories are included, and the default Income category is already selected. To see the full list again, turn off Match categories to transaction type in the same place.
✨ Improvements
- Subscriptions: clicking the linked transactions badge in the subscriptions list opens that subscription at its linked transactions. The badge did nothing before.
- MS Money import: an account that has no currency in the file now gets your base currency instead of USD, and you can change it with a picker on the accounts step. Accounts with a currency in the file import as before.
- Settings and Analytics: on wide screens the side menu stays in place while you scroll a long page.
- Mobile header: the feedback and support buttons moved into the burger menu. In languages with longer labels they pushed the settings button off the screen.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- After you accepted or declined a sharing invitation opened from its link, the dialog showed "Invitation not available" instead of the result. The invitation itself went through; only the message was wrong. This affected household invitations and invitations to a single account or budget.
- Sharing an account with someone you had removed from your household showed a note that they were still a household member and that the share would replace their access. The note now appears only for current members. Sharing itself worked.
- Editing a venture deal showed Principal and Entry fee with up to 10 decimal places, for example 1000.0000000000. Both fields now drop the trailing zeros. The form for a new deal was fine.
- With a base currency other than USD, two labels still showed dollars. The spike setting on the Balance Trend widget read "Min change $" and now shows your currency symbol. The cost line on a paid-off loan read "¢ of interest per $1 borrowed" and now shows interest as a percentage of the amount borrowed.
- In bulleted lists, a line that wrapped started under the bullet instead of under the text. This showed in the refund info, the bank connection instructions, and the delete account and wipe data sections, among others.
Thanks to @algedabra for the reports.
