🔗 Transfers between your own accounts link themselves
When MoneyMatter syncs a connected bank, it now finds both sides of a transfer between your own accounts and links them for you. Money you moved between accounts shows up as one transfer instead of an expense and an unrelated income sitting apart, and neither side counts toward your category totals. A pair links only when nothing else could fit: same amount, same currency, dates within three days, and exactly one possible partner on each side. Anything less certain stays unlinked for you to pair up yourself. A switch in Settings → General extends the matching to accounts you track by hand, off by default since a paired transaction loses its category.
👀 Pick what the Latest Records widget shows
The Latest Records widget on your dashboard now has its own settings menu. Transfers that leave your accounts stay hidden by default and you can switch them back on. Two more toggles hide transfers between your own accounts and balance adjustments, the corrections MoneyMatter writes when you set an account balance directly. The menu spells out what you are hiding, so a transaction missing from the list is no longer a mystery.
🐛 Bug fixes
- Connecting a bank to an account you had tracked by hand no longer invents a transaction. MoneyMatter used to add a balance adjustment to close the gap between the history you had entered and the balance the bank reported, and that row then sat in your transaction list and skewed the totals around it. The difference now goes into the account's starting balance. An account with no history before the link had no gap to close, so nothing changes there.
- History you entered before connecting the bank came back as duplicates. Monobank and LunchFlow syncs reached back past the day you connected the account and re-imported transactions you already had. Syncs now start at the day you linked.
- An account could sit in "queued" and never finish syncing. This hit you when the first sync found nothing in its window, and when a transaction dated in the future pinned the window open. Both cases now finish.
- A pending card transaction could land in your list twice. On Enable Banking connections, a bank that booked the settled copy under a different reference than the pending one created a second row instead of replacing the first. Monobank, SimpleFIN and LunchFlow connections were never affected.
- Loans and vehicles can no longer be linked to a bank connection. Those balances come from the loan schedule and the valuations you record, so a bank connection had nothing correct to write there. MoneyMatter now turns the link down instead of accepting it.
- A bank link that failed to start syncing left the account showing no status at all. You saw neither progress nor an error, with nothing to retry. Such an account now shows as failed.
- Today's balance could disagree with your bank right after you connected it. The balance for the current day now matches what the bank reports.
