🔁 Recurring payments, redesigned
The recurring payments page in MoneyMatter now groups entries by when they fall due: overdue at the top, then due this week, later this month, and everything after. Adding an entry asks for the essentials only, so you can save one in a few seconds. Schedule details, payee and tags, and automatic matching each get their own editor on the entry's page, replacing the single long form you used to fill in up front.
📈 Payment history on every entry
Open a recurring entry and you see every payment it has collected, grouped by year, next to a chart of what you paid each period. Periods you skipped show as gaps, so a month you missed stays visible instead of disappearing. When payments span several currencies, totals also appear in your base currency. Unlinking a payment now asks you to confirm first.
✨ Landing page refresh
moneymatter.app has new screenshots, a rewritten comparison against other trackers, and a demo you can start straight from the dashboard preview. The page loads faster, and a demo that fails to start now tells you why.
🐛 Bug fixes
- Categories and currencies could keep showing an old list after you added, renamed, or deleted one. Your change saved, but coming back to the app later could still show the previous list until you did a full page reload. Deleting your last remaining category left it on screen too.
- Amount rules on recurring entries never matched anything. A rule set to match between 9 and 11 was read as 9 to 11 cents, so no real charge fell inside it. Rules based on description, account, or payee worked fine.
- A transaction you unlinked from a recurring entry stayed hidden from that entry's suggested matches. Unlinking by mistake meant you could not find the transaction again to relink it.
- A transaction you unlinked from one recurring entry could not be linked to a different one. Transactions with no link history were unaffected.
