What's Changed
🏦 Track your loans
MoneyMatter now tracks your loans – mortgages and consumer loans – right alongside the rest of your money. Add a loan with its origination date, interest rate, term, original amount, and what you currently owe, and it gets its own Loans section in the sidebar (hide it anytime if you don't need it). Each loan reduces your net worth automatically as a liability, and a dedicated overview page shows all your active loans, a cost breakdown, and combined totals, with paid-off and archived loans tucked into collapsed sections so the list stays focused on what's still open.
Record a payment from any account and it lowers what you owe – every payment counts fully toward the principal. Already have the transactions in your history? Link them as loan payments (and unlink them just as easily) so past repayments are reflected without double-counting. When your numbers drift from a lender statement, a balance correction lets you restate the exact outstanding amount and keep going. A payoff projection chart shows when you'll be debt-free based on your rate and term, along with estimated interest and total cost, and you can choose the currency each loan is tracked in.
🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Scheduled-payment matching now stays stable across day boundaries, so recurring payments no longer mis-match near midnight.
