MoneyMatter now fully supports a polished light theme alongside the existing dark mode. The rollout includes refined card, field, and dropdown styles, a refreshed sidebar accounts section, a bordered bottom navbar, and pill-style tabs on the subscriptions page. Switch themes from the theme toggler in the top bar.
🎯 Custom AI Categorization Instructions
You can now provide custom instructions that guide the AI transaction categorization logic — tailor how specific merchants, patterns, or keywords get categorized for your personal finances. Default auto-categorization limits have also been raised.
📂 Smarter Categories Selection
The categories selection component got a significant UX pass: improved search, better dropdown width handling, and a cleaner overall interaction pattern across transaction forms and budget filters.
💼 Investments MCP Tools
Expanded the Model Context Protocol integration with tools specifically for investment portfolios, so AI assistants can now query your portfolio balances, holdings, transactions, and performance data directly.
🎭 Demo Experience
The public demo now includes realistic flows for investment portfolios and bank integrations, improved widget layouts for demo users, and starts with the quick guide collapsed for a cleaner first impression.

🤖 AI Discoverability (for developers & agents)
Under-the-hood changes that make MoneyMatter first-class discoverable to AI agents and assistants. Published a suite of /.well-known/ metadata endpoints so MCP clients and crawlers can auto-discover capabilities: MCP Server Card, OAuth/OIDC discovery, OAuth Protected Resource metadata, API Catalog (RFC 9727), and Agent Skills index. Also added llms.txt, Content-Signal in robots.txt, text/markdown content-negotiation support, WebMCP support, and Link response headers on the homepage.
