📎 Link, reference and location fields on transactions
Transactions in MoneyMatter can now carry three extra optional fields: an external link, a reference, and a location. Switch on the ones you want under Settings → General, and they appear on the transaction form. Fields you leave off stay hidden unless a transaction already holds a value in them.
- External link stores a URL such as a receipt, an order page or an invoice. The transaction shows a link icon in the list that opens it in a new tab.
- Reference stores an id like an invoice or receipt number. Transactions imported from Monobank, Enable Banking and Walutomat fill it in automatically with the bank's own reference, and it survives when an import merges into a planned transaction.
- Location stores where the transaction happened. Fill it from your device's current position or type the coordinates. The transaction shows a map pin in the list that opens the spot in a map.
To pick a location on a map instead, turn on the map picker under the Location field in Settings → General. It adds a "pick on map" button to the form with address search, and shows the address next to the coordinates you entered. The map picker is off by default because it fetches map tiles and addresses from OpenStreetMap.
🏷️ Create payees from the first transaction
Until now MoneyMatter only created a payee from a bank import once the same name showed up twice, so one-off merchants stayed without a payee. Settings → Payees now lets you choose how many occurrences it waits for: one, two or three. Set it to one to get a payee on the first import. Thanks to @algedabra for reporting this.
