What's Changed

🚗 Vehicle worth tracking

MoneyMatter now tracks vehicles as a first-class asset, so cars and other depreciating possessions count toward your net worth without manual upkeep. Add a vehicle with its purchase price and class, and MoneyMatter automatically depreciates its value over time using class-specific depreciation curves — no need to re-estimate the worth every month.

You stay in control: override the current value whenever you have a real number (e.g. a fresh market quote or sale offer), and overrides can be backdated so historical value points land on the right date. The vehicle detail page shows values in your base currency, and vehicles feed into the Balance Trend chart so net worth stays complete across liquid, illiquid, and physical assets. A toggle lets you include or exclude vehicles (and ventures) from the trend total when you want a liquid-only view.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Updating or deleting a transfer transaction whose paired leg was already gone no longer matches unrelated rows — orphaned transfer legs with a cleared transferId are now handled correctly.
  • Vehicle accounts are now guarded against invalid transaction operations, preventing unsupported edits on vehicle-backed accounts.
  • Near-zero crypto holdings (e.g. DOT -0) are now treated as closed positions and hidden from the active holdings list.
  • The monthly Balance Trend chart now snaps to whole months, so partial first/last months no longer skew the bars.
  • Venture event dates now use the proper date field for consistent entry.
