The first beta. It fixes a bug from 0.7.0 that stopped some consoles from preparing any game, and makes updates find an unchanged runtime kit by themselves. Everything else is the same as 0.7.0, with the same runtime kit (0.13). The kit is not attached here: Playden downloads it from 0.7.0 when it needs it, and playden-kit-0.13.zip there is the file for a manual kit install.
Warning
Beta of alpha software. Betas can have new bugs. Playden signs in to your real Steam account and reads and writes your Steam Cloud saves. Read Before you use it first.

Getting the beta from 0.7.0: turn on Settings › Updates › Beta updates. Playden checks again at once and offers 0.7.1-beta.1. Only the app is downloaded; the kit stays. Your sign-in, games, saves and Game settings are kept. You can turn Beta updates off again at any time: Playden keeps the beta until 0.7.1 or newer is out, then updates as usual.
Updating from 0.6.0: Playden offers only stable versions until you turn on Beta updates, so update to 0.7.0 first (see its notes), or install this beta by hand.
New install: copy the FAKE77031 folder to /data/homebrew/ (see the README). On its first start Playden offers to download the runtime kit.
Fixed
- "A PS5 title could not be reserved" for every game (#133). Before Playden uses a PS5 title for a game, it checks that no program on the console is running that title. A program that runs without a title ID, such as some loaded payloads, made that check fail, so every title counted as "could not check" and no game could be prepared. Such programs are now known not to be games.
Changed
- Updates find an unchanged runtime kit in an earlier release. A release whose kit did not change can leave the kit out, as this one does. Until now, a console without that kit could not install such an update and said "missing a download". From this version on, Playden takes the kit from the newest earlier release that has it. This helps the next updates, not this one: updates are installed by the version you are running.
