- Real XeTeX mode and an embedded XeLaTeX format;
ratex -xelatexno longer uses the pdfTeX compatibility path. - Fixed Spanish accents and ñ in
\DeclareFixedFontdocuments (#18), plus Spanish babel loading underratex -lualatex(#17). - The exact minimal documents from both reports now run in font CI with the requested engine, PDF text/font validation, Poppler and pdf.js rendering, and TeX Live 2026 comparison on Linux.
- Existing pdfTeX output and performance are preserved. The executable remains self-contained: no TeX Live installation or runtime font download is required.
Native archives and installers are provided for Linux, Intel/Apple Silicon macOS and Windows, alongside C and WebAssembly libraries. Checksums are included with the release assets.
