Highlights since 0.15.5
- Overleaf projects open after the main file is renamed. A project whose main file was renamed on Overleaf, for example from main.tex to main_v2.tex, opens again instead of showing "No such file or directory". Right-click a .tex file and choose Set as main document to pick what is built, and your choice always decides. In Overleaf-linked projects you can select text in the PDF and post an Overleaf comment on the matching source.
- The AI assistant never deletes a reference on its own. It asks you before removing a .bib entry. Removing an entry no longer reformats the others, which used to lose fields such as volume and pages, and after an edit Check references checks only the entries that changed.
- A .bib file's Split view stays in step. The source and the reference list follow each other both ways, and each reference offers Open paper or Download and open.
- Project actions in the File menu. The macOS File menu has New Project (⇧⌘N), Open, Open Recent, Open from Overleaf, Import Overleaf ZIP, Export ZIP and Export for arXiv, the same actions as the project title menu.
Notable fixes
- Clicking the paper title on a citation card opens the paper, or its .bib entry, and Open paper is back on the card.
- A paper opens on its full text, at the top, the first time you open it.
- Margin review's On screen list is now called In view, with a tooltip saying what it lists.
- History > Compare > Export PDF with changes no longer runs latexdiff without end. It stops after a time or memory limit, Cancel works while it runs, closing the comparison or quitting Lattice stops it, and files that read each other with \input are named in a clear message.
