- Multilingual interface — the app now follows the TV language by default or lets you choose explicitly in Settings. English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Russian, Italian, and Ukrainian are available across the app, LAN upload page, reminders, and launcher metadata, with locale-aware plural forms.
- Program search and smarter channel matching — unified Search now includes XMLTV programs alongside channels, movies, and series, with direct actions to watch live, start or resume catch-up, or set a reminder. Cached fuzzy matching covers channel names, numbers, groups, and current programs while keeping VOD title matching precise.
- Multi-source EPG — guide data from manual, M3U-owned, and Xtream feeds is loaded and cached independently, then merged without mixing channels that reuse the same XMLTV identifier. Gzip-compressed XMLTV feeds are supported, stale data survives individual feed failures, and feeds refresh every six hours.
- Xtream server-side catch-up — archived programs now use Xtream archive metadata and timezone-aware timeshift URLs, with automatic fallback to the legacy endpoint when required by the provider.
- Recently Watched — the Live view gains a recency-sorted group for confirmed live channels and resumable catch-up programs, with retention and availability checks plus a dedicated history-clear action in Settings.
- VOD watchlists and playback queues — Movies and Series gain account-scoped Watchlist rails and detail actions. Series continue automatically through ordered episodes after a cancelable countdown, while watchlisted movies and episodes queue in sequence and completed titles leave the Watchlist.
- Redesigned Settings navigation — an adaptive localized sidebar groups settings into clearer sections, distinguishes hovered and active sections, preserves scroll behavior, and supports consistent D-pad entry and return navigation. The expanded theme grid also adds Cobalt Slate.
- Homebrew Channel installation — releases now include a verified manifest so the app can be added as a custom Homebrew Channel repository, installed directly on a TV, and updated from future GitHub releases.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed extensionless continuous MPEG-TS streams being mistaken for HLS manifests, which left fetches alive after channel changes and could eventually saturate renderer CPU. Ambiguous streams are now probed with strict size, timeout, and cancellation limits, and verified MIME routes are cached for seven days.
- Fixed native playback for raw extensionless streams by selecting the correct MIME pipeline, coalescing repeated playback failures, rejecting invalid live seek ranges, and keeping OSD timing synchronized with startup.
- Stream URLs with FLV extensions followed by query parameters are now recognized correctly.
