leihs 3.19.0 now available

latest releases: 7.5.0, 7.5.0-RC.2, 7.5.0-RC.1...

The following new stuff is now in leihs:

  • Users can change their own passwords now in their profile section.
  • Group managers may now see a model's timeline.
  • Group managers may now view the inventory section to have a look around, but cannot change anything.
  • Group managers may now see contracts and contract lists.
  • Group managers may no longer overbook (assign more items than there are present for the requested time frame).
  • New feature to specify how many days must be between ordering something and picking it up. This allows busy inventory pools to create a safety buffer.
  • Limit for the number of visits per weekday that an inventory pool is ready to handle. This lets very busy inventory pools with a limited number of lending managers spread their workload more evenly and prevent waiting times for users.
  • Days that are over limit are highlighted red in the booking calendar.
  • Software can now have a maintenance contract and a maintenance fee.
  • Completely redesigned daily view: A short overview with links to lists of orders, pre-filtered for the day you started out on.

And these bugs were fixed:

  • Authenticating against Shibboleth should work again.
  • Searching inside the category tree should now show results even without hitting enter.
  • Searching for models during a handover should now show results properly, not only after reentering the same information twice.
  • The US English date format is now mm/dd/yyyy.
  • Users can now have unusually long first or last names (100+ characters).
  • Filtering a contract or handover list by day now works properly even when the start day and end day are the same.
  • Holidays are now respected properly in the booking calendar.

The upgrade procedure is the same as usual: https://github.com/zhdk/leihs/wiki/leihs-Admin-Guide#performing-upgrades
