March 12, 2026 Update
Most of the recently reported bugs have been fixed. If no new issues appear, the full release image will be published soon. The clone devices are now basically perfectly compatible with the 4.4 kernel.
- Fixed the ES scraping freeze and uninterruptible bug (caused by mismatched GCC versions during cross-compilation).
- Fixed WiFi rollback on some devices (0310-fix).
- Fixed game freezes in ports on certain devices.
- Fixed performance issues on original “soy sauce” systems (in my tests, the original system couldn’t run Bloody Roar II at full framerate with the pcsx_rearmed core, which is far below the expected performance of the RK3326; this is now fixed in ArkOS4Clone).
OTA Upgrade
- Download
firstboot.sh - Replace
firstboot.shin the BOOT partition - Copy
update.tarto the Easyroms drive (same level as gba, nds,
etc.) - Boot the device --- OTA will start automatically
- The device will power off automatically after completion
- Insert the SD card back into your PC
- Run DTB Selector again and select the correct DTB
