Bloodborne VR 0.1.0-alpha12 (early alpha, pre-release)
Hotfix for alpha11: Super High (DLSS-NR) now unlocks.
Unofficial VR port of YOUR OWN Bloodborne 1.09 (CUSA03173) dump on Windows (Vulkan + OpenXR). No game files are included. You need a SteamVR/OpenXR headset runtime and a legally obtained, decrypted dump.
EARLY ALPHA. Single-player is the supported mode; co-op is experimental. Expect bugs and comfort issues.
Fixed since alpha11
- Super High stayed greyed out even after "Find file…" picked
nvngx_dlssnr.dll. alpha11 shipped an oldbbport_dlss.dllwithout DLSS-NR support; alpha12 ships the right one, and the release build now refuses an old one. - "Find file…" checks again at once: Super High unlocks right away, or the launcher says why (including when Windows will not let it copy the file).
- Super High stays selected when you open the launcher again. If
nvngx_dlssnr.dllis missing later, your choice is kept and a notice explains it; the game then runs without NR. - Super High still needs your own
nvngx_dlssnr.dll, which is NOT included. Open "What is this?" in the launcher for details.
Everything else is as in alpha11: full per-eye true stereo by default, the new launcher (VR / Co-op / Flat, Low / Medium / High / Super High, Display size), the CPU and crash fixes, and the first-person combat changes. See the alpha11 release notes.
- Play online uses the default lobby that comes with the release: press Play online, then Host a game or Join a friend with a room code. Nothing to type. The dashboard shows "Lobby: default"; Change next to it lets you use your own lobby.
Known issues
- A brief 2D screen can show after loading.
- Full stereo with Super High is GPU-heavy. Pick a lower preset if you drop frames.
- Internet co-op is not fully tested; summons may fail. If you see "failed to acquire server information" restart the game.
- The exe and Setup.exe are not code-signed: Windows SmartScreen warns, click "More info", then "Run anyway".
Install
Setup.exe (recommended): run BloodborneVR-0.1.0-alpha12-Setup.exe over your alpha11 install. Saves, settings and your nvngx_dlssnr.dll are kept.
Portable zip: extract BloodborneVR-0.1.0-alpha12.zip over or next to the old folder and keep your user\ folder.
