- Clear leak alert button for standalone H5054 water detectors (#218). An H5054 behind an H5040 gateway stays wet until its leak alert is read in the Govee app. The new Clear leak alert button sends the same request as the app's Read button, so the moisture sensor returns to dry straight from Home Assistant. If the detector is still wet, it raises a new alert and latches again, so clearing can't hide a live leak. It needs the account (email/password) login. Thanks @meeowgler for the endpoint research and the PR (#219).
govee.send_raw_ptrealdeveloper action (#208). An admin-only action that sends a raw Govee command frame to one device over AWS IoT, with the checksum added automatically for 19 bytes or fewer. It's meant for testing commands the cloud API doesn't expose yet, such as segments 16–29 on the H7026. A wrong frame can leave a light in an unexpected mode, so treat it as a debugging tool.
Fixes
- Devices that ignore commands with "MQTT control" enabled (#198). With the experimental option to send power, brightness and colour over MQTT, commands to a device that never listens on AWS IoT (seen on an H6163) disappeared, and the REST API was never tried. MQTT is now used only for devices that have answered over AWS IoT in the current session; everything else goes through the cloud API.
- Commands lost over Bluetooth when a device stops advertising (#198). A device enrolled for direct Bluetooth kept receiving commands over Bluetooth after its advertisements went stale (seen on an H6199), and nothing fell back to another route. Bluetooth is now skipped once advertisements are stale, and the command goes over LAN, MQTT or the cloud API. Bluetooth writes also appear in diagnostics under recent commands.
- H66A0 TV Backlight 3 Pro DreamView (#213). Govee accepts the standard DreamView toggle for the H66A0, but the light ignores it. The switch now sends the video-mode frame over AWS IoT instead, which needs the account login; turning it off restores the last colour. Not yet verified on hardware: H66A0 owners, please report on #213 whether screen sync starts.
- Leak alert handling (#218). A leak-alert clear is no longer undone by a poll that was already running when you pressed the button, and the next poll confirms the clear with Govee. Malformed responses from Govee's leak-alert calls now show a proper error instead of failing silently.
