🚀 Palmr. v3.0-beta is here!

We're thrilled to announce the v3.0.0-beta release of Palmr., a major leap forward that makes the project lighter, more flexible, and easier to self-host than ever before.

  Now using MySQL by default, making it easier to self-host with fewer moving parts and lighter containers.

• 🗃️ Goodbye MinIO
  MinIO is no longer required! Palmr. now uses filesystem storage by default, with support for any S3-compatible object storage if you want to scale.

  Enterprise-friendly SSO is now built-in, letting you connect your favorite OpenID provider with just a few lines of config.

• 📤 Reverse Share (WeTransfer-style)
  A brand new reverse upload feature with a beautiful default UI inspired by WeTransfer — perfect for external users to send you files securely.

• 🐳 Run without Docker Compose
  You can now run Palmr. directly with Docker — Compose is optional.

• 📚 Cleaner Docs, Smoother Setup
  The installation docs have been rewritten and simplified, making it a breeze to get started.

• 🌍 Multi-language Support
  We’ve added new languages to make Palmr. accessible to more people around the world.

• 🎨 Improved UI & Accessibility
  Subtle visual improvements and color adjustments to make the interface more readable and accessible.

• 🔁 Password Recovery Without SMTP
  No SMTP config? No problem. You can now reset passwords directly via terminal.

• ⚙️ Updated License
  Our software license has been updated to be clearer and even more permissive for personal and commercial use.

• 🐞 Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
  A bunch of small bugs squashed and under-the-hood enhancements.
