New features:
- Custom Online Search
Only Google Search is available at the moment. The problem is with the security policy: many websites not allow embedding them in frames. Because of this, it is also impossible to open links in the browser, but some of them may open directly in the Search Window.
The next version will ship with a local server for proxying such requests and adding the required HTTP Headers.
Improvements:
- Context menu tweaks are now applied to modal dialog
Known issues:
- Search does not respond to query change after upgrading or downgrading or uninstalling BeautySearch without enabling the standard Bing Web Search if you had Custom Online Search enabled. This can be resolved by running
sfc /scannowin terminal and then restarting theSearchApp.exeprocess or restarting the PC.
