New: Watch mode 🎬
A screensaver-style ambient tour of your timeline. Sit back and let lifeGLANCE walk through your milestones on its own.
- Start it your way: tap watch in the top bar, or let it auto-start after a period of inactivity (configurable in Settings: on/off plus 1m / 2m / 5m / 10m).
- Themed tours: choose what to watch from the watch menu, including your full timeline, this year, upcoming, with photos, or a specific chapter.
- Cinematic presentation: the current milestone is spotlighted with a glow as the timeline centers on it, and milestones with a photo get it as a dimmed, slowly-drifting Ken Burns backdrop.
- Gentle context: a caption surfaces each event's chapter, its note, and how old you were ("you were 24 · 12 yrs ago"). Richer events (notes, photos) linger a little longer.
- Ambient sound: reuses the onboarding drone and melody (respects your sound setting), and the music shifts register as the tour moves through time, lower for the distant past, higher for the recent.
- Stays awake: holds a screen wake lock so your device won't dim while you watch.
- Any tap, key, or swipe exits and restores exactly where you were.
Fixed: iOS home-screen app layout
For lifeGLANCE installed to the home screen on iOS/iPadOS (as a PWA):
- The status bar no longer overlaps the app's header.
- Fixed the black bar that appeared at the bottom of the screen (most visible on iPad in landscape).
These changes are scoped to the installed iOS app only. Android, desktop, and in-browser use are unchanged.
