Desktop App — macOS, Windows, Linux
dayGLANCE is now available as a native desktop application. Download the DMG (macOS), EXE installer (Windows), or AppImage (Linux) from the releases page. The desktop app runs the full dayGLANCE experience locally with no browser required.
macOS note: The app is not yet signed with an Apple Developer certificate. When you open it, macOS will say it's "damaged and can't be opened." To fix this, run the following in Terminal:
xattr -cr /Applications/dayGLANCE.appThen double-click to open normally. If you installed it somewhere other than
/Applications, adjust the path accordingly.
Stream Deck+ Plugin (pending Elgato review)
Full Stream Deck+ integration is coming as a separate plugin download — currently in review with Elgato. Once approved, you'll be able to connect the plugin to your running dayGLANCE desktop app over a local WebSocket and control your day without touching the keyboard:
- Agenda — cycles through today's scheduled tasks on dial rotation or key/touch tap; long-press to complete the current task; touch strip shows upcoming tasks at a glance
- Up Next — shows the next incomplete task with time and progress
- Focus — Pomodoro timer with idle / setup / active states; dial adjusts work and break durations; touch strip tracks session progress; long-press dial to complete the active task mid-session
- Habits — shows today's habit ring and marks habits complete
- Routines — shows and advances the active routine
- Quick Glance — cycles through a configurable set of stats (tasks, habits, goals, projects) with auto-rotation and pin support
- Goal Progress — arc indicator for a pinned goal
- Project Progress — arc indicator for a pinned project
- hyperGLANCE — shows the active hyperGLANCE session with per-slot scheduling and pulse animation
All buttons render live data from the app and update in real time.
WEEK View Enhancements
- Timeline start hour — set a start time in Settings → Time Format (presets: 12am, 4am, 5am, 6am, 7am) to hide empty early hours and give more vertical space to the hours you actually use
- Expand toggle — tap ▲ in the hour gutter to temporarily show all 24 hours; tap ▼ to trim back
Bug Fixes
- Fixed DAY view clipping the top hour when returning after prolonged inactivity
- Fixed hover line and click-to-add being blocked by frame backgrounds in DAY view
- Removed logo from header; left-aligned date navigator on tablets
- Fixed landscape rotation on Android tablets
