dayGLANCE 2.6.0
Timeline views
dayGLANCE now has three ways to view your calendar: Multi (the original 3-day rolling view), Day (a single focused day), and Week (a full 7-column Monday-to-Sunday overview). Switch between them using the view button in the top-left corner of the calendar, or with keyboard shortcuts 1, 2, and 3. The selected view is remembered across sessions, and you can deep-link directly to a view and date using ?view=day|week|multi&date=YYYY-MM-DD.
Day view
- Full feature parity with the original timeline view, now called
Multi - Drag to move and resize tasks; hover preview and click-to-edit
- Current-time now-line and pulsing highlight on the running task
- All-day section with task chips, deadline tasks, and routines — all draggable in and out
- Sidebar click-to-focus navigates to the selected day
- Right-click context menu
- Notes panel, daily note icon, focus log icon, and habit mini-rings in the date header
Week view
- 7-column timeline with task chips; conflict layout for overlapping tasks
- Drag to move and resize tasks across days
- All-day row with deadline tasks and overflow popover
- Routine pills with duration label, overflow popover, and 2-column conflict layout
- hyperGLANCE project bars and GTD Frames
- Right-click context menu, notes and subtasks popover
- Recurrence icon on recurring task chips
- Today-column blue tint, current-time now-line, and habit mini-rings in past date headers
Habits
- Day-of-week scheduling — each habit can now be set to specific days of the week. A Friday-only habit only appears on Fridays; an MWF habit appears on Mon/Wed/Fri. All 7 days are on by default so existing habits are unchanged. The toggle (S M T W T F S) appears in the habit edit form; auto-synced habits (Steps, Sleep) are always daily and don't show it. The manage list shows a "Mon, Wed, Fri" subtitle for non-daily habits. Streak logic skips non-scheduled days — they neither extend nor break a streak.
- Goal and limit badges — a small green checkmark appears on the ring when a Do More goal is met or exceeded; a small red ✕ when a Limit habit is exceeded.
hyperGLANCE
- The 60-minute minimum session duration has been removed. Sessions can now be as short as 15 minutes. New sessions still default to 60 minutes.
Calendar sync
- Pasting a
webcal://URL into the calendar sync URL fields now automatically converts it tohttps://.
Bug fixes
- Routine schedule times no longer lost after opening and closing the Routines dashboard via
Rshortcut
