🚀 Android Beta Testers Wanted 🚀
We're running a closed beta (alpha track on the Google Play Store) for the Android app and are looking for testers! If you'd like early access to help test (and suggest) Android features before they go live, join my Google Group here: https://groups.google.com/g/dayglance
Your feedback makes a real difference (crashes, UI oddities, anything else you notice).
v2.4.6
Routine completion tracking
Tap or click a routine chip on the timeline to mark it as done — it gets a strikethrough and is removed from the glance panel immediately. Tap again to reverse it. Completion state resets each morning.
Timeline scroll through routines
On mobile and tablet, you can now swipe through areas covered by routine blocks to scroll the timeline. Previously the entire block captured touch events; now only the pill chip does.
Faster Android startup
Daily content (dad jokes, fun facts, etc.) is no longer fetched on Android at all — it was never displayed there. Weather and daily content fetches are also skipped when those features are disabled in settings, reducing unnecessary network requests on startup.
Koofr sync support
Koofr is now a dedicated sync provider with tailored setup instructions. If you're using the web app, a clear message explains why Koofr blocks server-side connections and points you to the Android app, which connects to Koofr directly.
