v2.0.0 — Goals & Projects
Goals & Projects
The biggest addition to dayGLANCE since launch. You can now organize your work into a three-level hierarchy: Goals → Projects → Tasks. Goals are long-term objectives with an optional target date and colour. Projects live under a goal (or standalone) and group related tasks together. Any task can be assigned to a project from the new/edit task modal.

- New Goals & Projects dashboard, accessible from the bottom-left of the GLANCE panel
- Goal cards show a progress bar, days remaining, and a ⚠ caution indicator when a project is stalled or the goal is overdue
- Completed goals render dimmed with a "Completed" label in place of the progress bar
- Projects cards (described further below) show scheduled and unscheduled tasks and progress toward completion
- Standalone projects (not tied to a goal) appear in their own section, split between active and completed
- Completed projects shown in a compact two-line style
- Archived goals and projects are collapsible at the bottom of the dashboard
