New: Write tasks to Obsidian from dayGLANCE
You can now push tasks directly into your Obsidian daily note without leaving dayGLANCE. Tag any task with #obsidian when creating it and it will be automatically written to today's daily note — creating the note from your template if it doesn't exist yet.
Format matches Obsidian's task conventions:
- [ ] 08:00-09:00 Vacuum floors— timed task on today- [ ] 2026-03-29 08:00-09:00 Vacuum floors— timed task on another date- [ ] 2026-03-29 Vacuum floors— all-day task- [ ] Vacuum floors— inbox task (no date or time)
Two-way sync works automatically. Once the task is in the vault, the existing 5-minute sync picks it up — completing, rescheduling, or renaming the task in dayGLANCE updates the vault line, and vice versa.
Tasks stay chronologically sorted. The heading section is re-sorted by date and start time whenever a task is added or updated from dayGLANCE.
New setting: "New task heading" — configure which heading in the daily note tasks are placed under (default: ## Tasks). The heading is created if it doesn't exist.
Works on both the web app and Android.
