WebDAV sync on Android works again
dayGLANCE 5.8.1 is an Android-only fix. 5.8.0 for Android was built with an outdated copy of the sync library, which did not wait for Android's network layer to answer, so every WebDAV request looked like an empty response. Desktop, web and iOS stay on 5.8.0.
Android
- WebDAV sync works again. In 5.8.0, Test Connection reported "Unexpected response: undefined" and sync did nothing. Your data was not affected, and changes you made on Android in the meantime sync after you update.
- Automatic backups to WebDAV or Nextcloud, and the CalDAV task calendar, failed for the same reason and work again.
- GLANCEvault, calendar subscriptions and the Obsidian bridge were not affected.
Thanks
- Cheugreum for the report (#2090).
